Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean was the Guest of Honour at Total Defence (TD) Day held at the Drama Centre on that afternoon. TD Day takes place on 15 February every year, the day Singapore fell to the Japanese during World War II in 1942. This is to remind Singaporeans that everyone has a part to play in defending our country. |  |
