One day before departure, can't wait for tomorrow.I am so excited about this trip to Xi'an. Can't sleep too pumped. Hope no one forget to bring anything. Say hello to Xi'an tomorrow!

Total Defense Day 2011

Keeping our Home together with Total Defence

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean was the Guest of Honour at Total Defence (TD) Day held at the Drama Centre on that afternoon.  TD Day takes place on 15 February every year, the day Singapore fell to the Japanese during World War II in 1942. This is to remind Singaporeans that everyone has a part to play in defending our country.

Alarm sounds

When there is an alarm, you must find a shelter and tune in to the radio. When there is another alarm, you can come out of the shelter.

Alarm Sounded!!

This was a good day.

First Mr Lee wanted us to use his phone to take pictures and videos and post them on Twitter! It was a fun experience.

After assembly, maybe a few hours later, we were having mother tongue classes when an alarm sounded. My teacher asked us not to care about it but we were still concentrating on the sound. After a few minutes, it stopped. I can imagine out terrible it might have felt if it was real...

The siren sounded on 15th/Feb/2011!

There was a siren sounded on the 15th/Feb/2011. The reason Singapore is sounding this siren is ,
when there is a war or emergency , the siren will be sounded again to warn people living in Singapore to evacuate to safe place 

 

TDD!

Today's show was amazing! I think the best part was the game show. I think everyone can learn from the answers of the questions as many of us do not know or not so sure of the answers.
